Hey Folks,
Slow day on the board so just figured I would get a few thoughts on this recent phenomena in caramel cards. With a final sticker of over $4500 it almost makes me want to sell the one I have. Has anyone seen another one of these (legitimately)? I love when you ask the question like this and people chirp in but then when quizzed they sort of him haw, like on my Gypsy Queen pack.........best regards and congrats to Tim....

Leon, As per our phone conversation, the only 2 copies of this card I am aware of are yours and this example. I'm not saying they are the only 2 to exist, I'm sure there are others, but if there are others out there NO ONE is selling.

Usually with eBay when a particular card sells for a high dollar amount more surface and are offered for auction like the E90-1 Jackson. Who knows, maybe this will tweak an example or two to surface but if not, it could be a sign of just how few of these there really are.

That question was for everyone except you I already knew what we spoke about. I spoke with another long time dealer/collector this morning about it too. He said he had seen one or two before too. I asked if the other one he saw was mine? He said "yes"....Like you said, and I agree, I am sure they are few and far between but sometimes when you put something out to the board you get some good "new" info. That's all I was trying to do. best regards

Hi, I don't post very often on this board, but I thought I'd respond to the query about other E97 B&W Youngs in the hobby. I have that card, and in fact I need only five more "proofs" to complete my set of E97 black and white cards. The five I'm missing are B&W versions of Durham, Heinchman, McConnell, Moore, Sullivan. If anyone can help me out with those, I'd be most grateful. Thanks, Brian.

Also, are there are any complete B&W E97 sets in the hobby?

after seeing your classified want in the Vintage mag............which ones do you have to trade? I wrote you two years ago telling you I had one of thwe ones you need....

Cardknowledge@earthlink.net

I won't sell any to you but would possibly trade you. I purchased 16 of them from terry knouse jr. some years ago and terry sr as well. he must have had a set or two at one time as some others have gotten a few from them including leon
