Guess the grade…
Curious what experienced N54era think this Fisk rookie would grade…. Am not sure how much centering would knock this down the grade chain
Thoughts? Worth submitting? Thx for advice… |

It's hard to tell from the small scans. However, it looks like it might be around a 7 OC, which would make it a 5.

I also think you're looking at about a 5 by today's standards.

5-6 at best
As noted, a bit hard to tell from the low res scans, but if it is looking like a 5-6, it could land even lower - I have been beyond shocked (See attached Yaz rookie pic) at some of the grades I have seen on my and others cards recently. Even in a best-case (5-6) scenario, probably not worth grading.

Truth is, with all the various TPG's and their increasing nuances anymore, it's virtually impossible to tell what a card might grade just based on eye appeal alone in a picture without physically inspecting it. I've seen cards comparable to that one grade a 7; I've also seen them grade a 2. Grading beyond the most basic range classification purposes for buying and selling online anymore really is bordering on insanity, IMO.

Yeah, probably not worth it for this card… but that is a pretty sweet Yaz rookie! I sold mine last year and have regretted it ever since! There may be a reunion of me and a ‘60 Yaz soon!

Good for you. Get an Ultra Pro One Touch mag. That's where my Pudge RC lives.
