Default New 1939 Ted Williams variation

Nice! I've not seen that exact style either. Love it though... looks like he took a wee bit of extra care in signing it.

I have seen a few of these around... last one i had in my possession was the attached ap...

I didn't buy it. I have a 1938 Ted flat, so I'm good. Given how his 'W' evolved and was always loopy in the end, I wonder what signing conditions made him do some early 'W's like this one.

I'm on the wrong computer, so don't have access to my exemplars for comparison, but I also have a 1939-40 signed on a Burke photo.
