Historic Washington tickets: 1924 World Series strip, 1956, 1969 All-Star, all full
1) $375 shipped. Maybe the largest and most beautiful of all World Series tickets, the full strip for games 1, 2, and 6 of the 1924 fall classic at Griffith Stadium in Washington, the first in their history and until last year the only championship in their long history in the game. This is also a ticket to Walter Johnson's first World Series appearance in game 1. Unfortunately, the bottom third of this prize has been separated and repaired by tape, something you wouldn't notice when displayed by the front. Otherwise spectacular condition, an affordable opportunity to acquire this gorgeous and historic piece of ticketry.
2) $125 shipped. Rare full ticket to the 1956 All-Star Game at Griffith Stadium in Washington. This could be proof ticket as there is no row or seat designations, but I think it's just as likely to be a real ticket for standing room or some other purpose. I don't know why a section would be printed and the ticket punched at both ends as if it was actually used to go through a gate. In any case, you can decide for yourself, and if you want to take a chance, it presents the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars on a beautiful and tough full ticket to this game.
3) $35 shipped. 1969 All-Star Game full proof ticket to RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.
Checks, and PayPal if you want to pay the 4% fee they charge me, discounts on multiple purchases.
