I know there are many collectors with many more than I have. I'll weigh in with a meager 16.

I have 284 different players, 364 total OJs and I'm a blip on the radar of the few big names in the OJ world. They own actual percentages (whole numbers nearing double digits) of the known popular. I collect one player and have extra Pittsburgh poses, so that's why there are 80 "extra" cards.

Happy Thanksgiving John -

Do you mind if I ask what your latest count is on Larry?

When's the last time you picked up a Larry?

To think I walked by these cards in the 80s not paying them mind. I think I'd like to add one. Charlie Ferguson might be the guy I'd like to have.

Default OJ

Jack Pollard had 395 at the time of his death in April 2009. The 2010 REA auction had a lot of 394 (lot #7), plus the California League card in lot #1.

There are at least 3-4 collectors with probably 1500-2000 total cards each. There may be more. I think they don't tend to make a big deal out of it on message boards, so the up-to-date stats probably aren't out there for obvious reasons.
