Nice Mike! I'm not sure I've seen that one before! I love those obscure local Pittsburgh issues.

This thread has become must reading. It seems like 50% of the new postings/days have brought something I haven't seen before. And love the '61 Clemente as well Pete.

Sorry for the bad cell phone pictures. This is by far my favorite Clemente card. This is one is missing the yellow ink and one of the few real unaltered missing yellow ink cards there is. The second picture is from before I had it graded. The center card is a normal card from the same set and the bottom card has very low yellow ink Mantle.

Ben,

I did not know that variation existed. Is yours the only one that you are aware of? Very cool, thanks for sharing.

It is the only one I have seen. I found it a few years ago while looking through a ton of 75 Topps for error cards. I was hoping SGC would label it as a missing yellow card. The grading companies quit doing it because they have been fooled so many times by faded cards. I even sent them proof that that year the yellow does not fade off without seriously changing the look of the whole card, didn't help.

It looks amazing in hand, it has very strong magenta and purple colors compared to most MVP cards from the set.

How was the bank sold ? National leauge and American league? Was it a surprise when opening the box to find out what random player bats surrounded the bank ?
I see your bank has both American and National league player bats.
On a side note I have a bank with all the National league Team bats.
