Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits. Specifically the version I linked below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Pa9x9fZBtY

Knopfler's work on the guitar is incredible as always, but that druming is incredible as well!

I love Apple Music. Every week it gives you several “for you” mixes from your library. Here’s some examples from last week.

I didn't see either listed, so I felt compelled to add:

"We've Got Tonight" - Bob Seger

"Into Dust" - Mazzy Star

Bonus: "Sometime Around Midnight" - The Airborne Toxic Event

I feel Seger is criminally underrated. Had some soulful, deep meaning hits. I love Turn the Page, and Hollywood Nights.

Another one, this time from two of the best women in Rock N Roll

Alone - Heart

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtopccRfyUU

I seem to have this obsession with finding artists/bands later in their career singing their classics. Something about hearing how their voices have aged, and how the meaning of the song seems to change a little bit. When a younger Ann Wilson sings this I think of her trying to find a way to confess her feelings to someone. When I hear an older Ann Wilson sing it, It almost feels like she's trying to speak to someone from her youth that has long been happily married, but it's a Romance she's dwelling on. Not sure if it's just me in that regard.

Resurrecting this thread, to share another fantastic live performance from the Eagles. New Kid in Town is one of the most underrated songs in their catalogue, in my opinion! One of my favorites from a show in 1977. Wish I could've seen them in their prime!

Brian Wilson

The band behind him is just amazing.

The Who
Live at Leeds
Greatest live album of all time. Listen with headphones and make sure it’s turned up loud! And you’ll want to be sitting in a chair with arm rests because you’re gonna need something to grab onto when it starts.

And my favorite comment ever about the Eagles:
