Default 1985 Wrestling questions

Hi I recently picked up a lot of 1985 wrestling cards and noticed that some cards have a * by the number and some with ** by the number. Anyone know why this is? Is one harder or more valuable than the other? The lot has 8 Hulk Hogan cards with *, and 3 with **. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

The set was printed on (2) 132-card sheets, with each sheet containing (4) 33-card half sets. One sheet has one star (*), and the other two (**) on the copyright line of the cards.

I haven't heard of a specific card number containing both variations of the stars.

Are your Hogans the same card number, or different cards?

Hello and thanks for the info. Sorry but I should have mentioned it was the stickers. The * is under the sticker number. I will check the cards tonight.
Thanks,
Bob

All of the stickers have either one or two stars.

The sticker sheet contains 6 sets of 22 stickers.

I don't think either is more scarce than the other.

OK Thanks for the info again.

OK .....So I did not find a rare variation worth enough to pay for my kids colleges. At least I found some nice Hogan's.
Thanks,
Bob

Those are good stickers. Might be worth enough to buy a college textbook.

Yea. it may buy a textbook or 2. There are 10 of those stickers plus another 21 of the the other Hulk stickers, and only 3 of the #1 cards, and 4 of card #16. And probably another 25 of the other Hulk cards. Now I am just waiting for PSA to open again.
Thanks,
Bob
