Great postcard Pete! I really like the postmark showing it was used as intended.

Outstanding Ruth rookie postcard Pete!

(there are more than two postmarked examples known, the Copeland and Carrigan's wife copies for example)

Great postcard Pete. That was in my collection at one time. So cool that it is postmarked from the 3rd game of the World Series - a 2-1 Red Sox win!

Here is another part of the deal that Phil referenced above. So cool to be able to do an old fashioned trade for something that you really want. I knew that Wiltse existed in the Rose Co. postcard set, but adding one to my collection had always eluded me. When I saw that Phil had picked one up, I contacted him and he went out of his way to make a deal with me. Really happy to have been able to add this one to my collection.

Somebody colored in the corners along the way, but it is still a very nice looking card.

Thanks for letting me know Jeff, didn’t realize there were others postmarked. Kevin, didn’t know it was in your collection or the history on the day it was mailed, cool stuff!

Missed out on a CJ in Scott's last pre-war auction, so of course I go and spend even more on this one. But anyway, glad to have a CJ hall of famer in the collection.

Thrilled to find a Tesreau D381 to start the year and very happy the M101-6's arrived safely after a nearly 30 day priority mail shipping trip. Photo is Minneapolis team in 1938 with Ted Williams.

Thrilled to find a Tesreau D381

Not sure I'd ever charge the mound with that grizzled veteran staring me down.

Nice pick up Erick.

Thanks. Agreed, I don't think I'd mess with many of the players from back in that era! There certainly weren't any coddled and pampered athletes back then!

So I was the winner of the Collection of nearly 500 Zeenut cards in the most recent Heritage Auction. I don't remember being more excited about getting a collection in the mail than I was to get this one. The description was so vague and there were so few pictures that there could literally be anything in there.

I made a video on my YOUTUBE channel going through the collection for the first time. I was hoping for a few gems hidden in there BUT I WAS COMPLETELY UNPREPARED FOR JUST HOW AMAZING THE COLLECTION ACTUALLY WAS!!!

Please check out the video a the link below...

Default Awesome book Rhett!

Thank you for filming your newly acquired Zeenut (and Tin Tops) book. So cool! I really enjoyed going through the book with you and congrats on the checklist! I hope you can get it uncovered without too much damage.

Every collector has to see Rhett's video...it made my heart pitter-patter as he got overwhelmed discovering just about everything you could want from the 1915-21 Zeenut sets, plus Colgan's Tin Tops. It has to be one of the top hidden auction finds. Shame on Heritage not spending a little more time detailing this scrapbook (poor consigner!), but one heck of a score, and a big congrats to someone (Rhett) who appreciates and collects the Zeenut sets.

The 1919 ad listing available Zeenuts is quite the score too, and I absolutely love the photo of the original collector with his fellow baseball buddies...a priceless gem.

Dang...

Brian

Seconded on all of this - except I haven't watched the entire video yet, and now you've spoiled the Tin Tops. Come on man, you gotta put *spoiler alert* on it!

Please post an "after" video to let us know how many you were able to detach.

Zeenut=awesome Rhett! Great pickup. With the help of a couple Net54ers I have started my Zeenut collection this year and have loved learning more about the PCL. As a Southern and Appalachian League guy, literally a world apart.

You take care of the Limb McKenry I see, top left, in that picture...

Default 1933-34 Blum's Bulletin Supplement

Just got this supplement from the Blum's Bulletins. I don't know much about them (other than the full set on eBay currently) so if anyone has any info or can direct me to more info on them I'd be thankful.

Finally got around to grading some cards I collected as a kid and they arrived today. Please excuse the post war examples but they look kinda neat as a group.
