Default Nolan Ryan Forged 1999 Inkredible Card

I don't know (yet) if the card is a counterfeit or not, but it is certainly a forgery.

Discovered these by accident as I was checking out Ebay seller Anme_47 (a seller of Florida forgeries and various forged/counterfeit cards).

I also observed the majority of these on Ebay are forgeries.

This crap is never-ending.

The forged one looks like something off an inkjet printer.

Yep.

The hologram looks similar to the forged/counterfeit cards I've exposed and the card itself looks "strange."

I am a huge Nolan Ryan collector: he's my all-time favorite athlete, and one of the main focuses of my collection. As such, I've seen and obtained many of his autographs over the past 40 years.

That real one you posted above, is the first authentic Ryan I can remember ever seeing. Every single one of these cards I recall seeing has been fake.

I've often wondered if a real, authentically autographed version of this card even exists at all, as I said above, I don't think I've ever seen one until this thread.

Hi Chris,
Wow, this is one Nolan Ryan fake signature that you can spot from 50 ft. away it is so bad.

Unreal that people believe that this crap will be believed to be authentic

Steve, my own research tells me that his autograph on that card is extremely rare.

Scott, you are so right about that.

There a few of them on Ebay.

Ebay seller Anme_47 (a seller of Florida forgeries and various counterfeit cards) has sold two of these and has another one listed.

Wow.

I seem to be saying that a lot lately. I used to use it a lot more positively.

I agree, Scott.

People have no idea the true scope of forgeries and counterfeit cards.

Very sad to hear. If we can’t trust TPAs like PSA and JSA and we can’t trust factory certified autographs, what do we collect then? What do you collect Christopher?

Some of us do but there is a whole bunch of people doing their best to cover it up and make it go away.

Self education.

There are dozens upon dozens of collectors here on Net54 who have the passion to learn.

Whether it's cards or autographs, you have to have a passion to learn. That passion evolves into knowledge.
