I saw that Leon and my hats off to Shammus for being a Gentleman about the outcome as he came in just a hair after the top of the hour deadline established by the seller and I was thinking oh oh, could be trouble. Well played by all. Moderator whales... I like it.

I think what I really could have used there is a "countdown clock" like you see on Ebay. I really had no idea when I was going to go over into the 9:01 barrier. Oh well....

It's a neat item. I would have loved to have had that postcard back when I wrote the e107 article. Would have been a really nice companion piece.

Whoa! That was like Dusty Rhodes vs Abdullah the Butcher all over again. What a majestic display of bidding by two old pros. Great entertainment! Thanks guys!

Did they actually produce the cards there at the factory, or just the candy? Or both?

I would assume that only the candy was manufactured in the caramel factory. The cards were done in town in the local second grade art class - ugly cards!

I work in Oxford, PA and in a previous life, had a complete set of E253s (sigh).

Thanks for participating in the auction; I am glad to provide some entertainment.

John
