What SGC graded vintage cards that you own are 1/1's (not for a specific grade but simply only one card of that issue/player ever graded by SGC) in the SGC Population Report? Please feel free to post scans of your unique pieces. I have a lot of Pop Report research to do for my own collection to see exactly what I have in 1/1's.

Not pre-war but definitely vintage (scans were done when they were raw; each now is an SGC 30):

I have at least 20 1/1's in 1909 and 1911 Obaks. Maybe nearing 50, I have never really checked.

1/1s not all that uncommon in the sets many of my Detroits fall including Gypsy Queen, Old Judge Cabinets, and even the N172s (especially if they graded and listed pops by pose).

that is a really neat looking Hal Chase. I've never seen that one before....a very classic baseball type of pose and image.

I love the Cartwright Cabinet Card. I remember placing some serious bids in the auction for that one and may have been the underbidder. If you are ever willing to part with it.........

What would be interesting is how many of these cards are 1 of 1 if PSA is included.

If anyone has an interest, I could get that info.

I have two of Steve's Zeenuts in PSA holders and two more he has listed as raw ones ready to submit. The McKune and Thomas though are truly toughies and I am missing them...

I haven't cared to check, but I'd guess that of my 1909 and 1911 Obaks -- 80% or better are 1/1 for both SGC & PSA.

I might get the cards out & look it up over the weekend.

I know that your nose is still out of joint over SGC's failure to put some sets into the Registry BUT it would be real nice to see you register your 1911 Zeenut set.

Last I checked this was one-of-one in both PSA and SGC:

Cat:

That's what I like to see, HOF RC's that are 1/1's (but only if they are in my collection). Kidding aside, I will post a few of mine later tonight when I get home from work.

Phil: One of the 3 or 4 big Cuban card collectors on the board must have another one or two, but unless I get another upgrade, this will not ever leave my collection. I got it for what I believe to be a very reasonable price too. Thanks Barry (and I believe Hal)!!!

They have actually added a T212-2 (150 Subjects) set to their registry.

Phil,
I dont know if you noticed ,By the way that is a "great" Buffalo team card but something struck me about it the photos of Uruquart, Rowe,Field, Smith. Are the same image as what is on the cameo pepsin pins. When I sold my lots in REA 2007 check lot 1224 and you can see them there. GREAT PIECE!

They don't get any more "1 of 1" than this: the only known example from the entire series.
