Default Which is more scarce/rare?

Posted By: Jason

The T206 Lundgren Cubs (common back)
or
the T207 Victor Saier
or
any T222 Cubs?

I welcome any thoughts on the common assumptions regarding population of these first 2 cards listed, in particular. Thanks!

Without looking at pop reports and the like, I'd think there are fewer T222 Cubs cards out there. The price won't reflect the degree, because there are MANY fewer T222 collectors than there are for T206s or T207s.

I agree with Frank. As far as T207 goes, Saier is probably one of the top 20 of tough T207s, although not one of the absolute toughest. I would assume that a T207 Saier is a much tougher card than virtually all T206 major leaguer commons.

That sounds correct to me. Saier is a difficult T207 to locate. But there are a bunch of T207 collectors after him. There are bunches and bunches of T206 collectors. Saier is much more difficult than Lundgren. There are hardly any T222 collectors. Most folks that have one stop there, having it as a type card. There are just a few of the guys who are really after them. The cards with those higher little numbers on them are seldom offered for sale.
