Default OT: When is posting listings in BST considered too many listings?

Every so often, I like to post a listing in the eBay BST board to advertise a new listing of mine. After not doing so for several months, I listed one yesterday.
I remembered that there was some rule that you should only bump every 3 or 4 days. In addition, you should try to consolidate your listings into 1 posting.
I was a little shocked to see one seller who had over 25 postings over the last few weeks.

Has the rules changed or does this seller just not know the BST rules?

My view is three listings on the main page for any one group, like no more than three in the T206, unless everything sells in one listing and it hasn’t bumped off yet. Everyone should get some eye time on the first page.

The auction heading in BST suggests no more than 2-3, but I think that's also what folks have generally followed for the other categories, too. A few at a time and don't bump your own listings more often than every few days. I've only posted in BST a couple of times (as someone looking for items) so it doesn't really impact me but I can understand how other sellers, who take the time to combine listings and limit bumps would be unhappy with others who don't.

The only area in the BST sections where there is a 2-3 limit rule is the live auction section, for obvious reasons.

All other areas there is no limit BUT similar year or set items, listed at the same time in the same section, should be in the same thread. If anyone sees more than around 3 threads not done that way, by one member, please PM me and their threads will all of the sudden mutate into one thread. People should be courteous over there but there won't be many rules. Caveat Emptor and pm me or another mod with issues.
