Default Slide

Obviously the danger of sliding too hard through the base.

No he doesn't. And another question. Why does the fielder have the glove on the slider, it has no ball in it? It's as though he is holding him off the base? All he had to do for the play is tag him with the ball. The runner wouldn't be out had he got tagged with a glove without a ball in it.

Yep. Maybe he got flustered when the 2nd baseman pulled out his Iphone to take the picture?......

Clearly the guy in the back is drawing a chalk line around the corpse.

Default Wow

And is the guy in the outfield wearing a shirt? Either way, he should be backing up the play.

It's also weird to see all those houses beyond the trees in the outfield. Kind of looks like the field we played on growing up in the midwest.

Default Good sliding techniques

That was a great slide but Jonathon Villar performed an even better one right into Brandon Phillips in yesterday's game.

It's been proven that you don't have to tag the player with the ball to get an out........even in a World Series.
