Default Waxing Nostalgic...and Leon kicking things off with a bang!

Looking over the old Full Count message board today and many memories came flooding back. These were great times, sharing great info and making new friends.

Yes, it got ugly in the end and yes, the tool (MS Front Page) created a crude version of the forum, but damn it was fun!

Anyhow, here's a link to what I believe to be the first Leon sighting (vintage 1999). He was "only" inquiring about a M101-5 Ruth!

Here's a link to the entire archive (scroll the whole way down, it's in reverse chronological order and is a pain to traverse).

Good times,

Mike

Could someone tell the story of Full Count and how Net54 came to be?

I think I used three different names on that board. Switched from "John" because there was about four Johns on the board. Then used the ebay name I shared with my brother when we bought and sold cards. He came on the board and started using the same name for his posts without me knowing, so on to the next name for me.

Frank gave me permission to tell. The other two guys in the photo went on to form the not-so-famous 'Nit32' forum.

Default T4 Cabinet response

The first reference I found of a post that I made was a response to a T4 Cabinet for sale in 2001.

Nice to know I still had the same focus 11 years later when I finally picked up a complete T4. I don't recall the thread and unfortunately if wasn't archieved in the wayback machine.

Fond memory of the early days.

Patrick

I sent an explanation to Frank too....doesn't matter to me who does it but I appreciate you doing it too Mike. Both you and Elliot were/are always fun to collect with. I am sure yours will be more accurate pre-Net54....

I guess I can skip Beyonce lip-syncing. I just hope I don't miss any wardrobe malfunction.
