Default Cards from today's dig ...

Posted By: Dan Paradis

I have some pictures of the cards I found helping a friend of mine get rid of his memorabilia. If anyone has any opinions on cards that I should not bother to have graded, please let me know. I plan on sending some to SGC and PSA tomorrow. Unfortunately most of the cards are not in great shape. We did find some nice cards from the 50's and 60's that I think will grade in the 7-8 range.

We plan on selling all these cards. So most will be on EBAY soon. There are 100's of cards that I don't plan on grading that will be on EBAY starting tomorrow.

Thanks to all that helped with the fake Greenberg 34 Goudey. When I went there this morning and took the card out of the sleeve I was embarassed to even think for a minute it was real!!

Thanks.

Dan

You may want to list them on Net 54 B/S/T first so you don't get stuck with Ebay fees.

Maranville and Barry CJs are trimmed. The Wheat is also a reprint. Good Luck.

Jason, thanks. I think the Huggins is also a reprint. It is very glossy.
EBAY ID: danp306

Do you guys think I should bother having the trimmed CJ's graded? Or sell raw as trimmed??

Thanks.

Dan

Looks like you've found some very nice cards there Dan!

Personally, I would send in the Old Judges, Cracker Jack Mathewson and Mack, and the 1953 Bowman Spahn (it looks like it might get a 7, if the scan is accurate). The others, I would just sell raw.

Good luck with them, which ever way you proceed!

Steve

Please don't sell on ebay anything that you can't correctly identify as either being a reprint or authentic. No one enjoys the "these cards aren't graded so according to ebay policy I'm selling them as reprints" line.

If you are not sure that the Barry is trimmed, send it in for SGC verification (or one of the others).
