Default How did "Net54Baseball.com" get that name?

and when was it established..? I'm sure it's been addressed before, but I never noticed or knew for sure - curious.

Our old board was hosted by www.network54.com .......it was the forum s/w and hosting all in one. That company hasn't really kept up with the times (with their forum s/w) so we moved to this Vbulletin software and found a new hosting company. I chose Net54baseball.com to keep some continuity. Hope that explains it.....the old network54 baseball board was formed in Sept of 2001.....this s/w and board was started in May of 2009.

It does, thanks! I've been on since before the switch-over in '09, just not sure of the origination time frame and name. Thanks again.

I was following the old forum for a couple of years, then I got away from collecting for a while. By the time I tried to find the forum again it had changed over. I think I ended up having to email Leon to figure out how to get my account going again.

This made me laugh and and in turn woke up my wife. Trying to explain to her why I was laughing was not as funny.

Clearly this was a tribute to the New York Giants World Championship year... The Giants swept the favored Cleveland Indians... Willie Mays made a miraculous catch... Dusty Rhodes dropped tons of magic... and voila!

Well played, Leon... well played!
