I don't have a scan handy, but the t209-2 Pressley/Pritchard two player horizontal comes to mind. Wish I had kept it second time around.

About 12 years ago, I sold a bunch of sets (both pre and post war) to help pay for an addition to our house. Starting about 5 or 6 years ago, I started putting them together again and have got them all back in my collection. I'm hoping I don't have to go through that again.

These are the pre-war sets I sold and then eventually collected again:
1939, 1940 and 1941 Play Balls
1933 Delongs
T201s
Diamond Stars

I have owned this exact one twice, and it's still in my collection. Forgive the clip art frame.

Default 1911 Zeenut Hap Hogan

I traded away this 1911 Hap Hogan zeenut and repurchased it from Leon 10 years later. Only card I have ever repurchased.

It's unusual in that the background has an olive tint and not the usual brown background commonly found in the 1911 zeenuts.

I sold an e121 PSA 5 Ruth (throwing pose) years back go get my Rookie Ruth

Took me years but finally picked up a PSA4 recently to replace it in my collection.

Several others I am hoping to get back but no luck yet

My first go-round with baseball cards came in the 1960s. My pals Mark Terry and Chuck White both got going before me. Once I saw what it was all about, I went at it in earnest, as they already had. We used to meet up at Mark Terry's house on a regular basis, and compare what we had and even trade cards. After a while Jimmy Robinson and Edwin Jaffe got in on it. As time went by, several of these guys picked up old cards, most from the 1950s and some even pre-war. I do not remember who had them, I suspect Mark Terry, but somebody had what we would call today 1933 and 1934 Goudey cards, including these two. I did not have them, but I vividly remember someone did, and they were thrown out on the floor and handled and looked at like all the other cards. We called them "old-timers". They most certainly were not treated like the Hope diamond back then!

Now I own these two, and others, safely within my new safe deposit box and they will not be leaving my possession anytime soon (I hope!).

When I first found out about these I wanted one as a type example. When Leon sold his collection I wanted to makes sure I picked up one. I ended up winning one but it wasn't the one I really wanted. A couple weeks later, HA contacted me as I was the underbidder on the Miller and asked if I was interested in it as well and the one I really wanted showed up on Ebay. So I went from hoping to get one to owning 3. I didn't really feel like I could afford to keep them all so ended up selling the Miller on the BST. Immediately I regretted it. Fast forward, the exact card shows up at auction and I won it back and have since become obsessive with the set. Anyone have one to sell?

The E94 Crawford is such an incredibly detailed and beautiful card. Thank you for sharing that image--its a fantastic example. I think if I had let go of that I would need to buy it back too

He sure does. I don't have anything of "Wahoo Sam". That's a beautiful card.
