Default e99's that ended on ebay

Anybody have any opinion on the e99's that ended on ebay last night? I had hoped to get both bought through prices were high, I was happy to get the SGC 20 though.

I had hoped Ping Bodie (Francesco Pezzolo to his mom) would come in at around $500, but I wasn't surprised because you almost never see them on Ebay, or in the BST, for that matter.

I think you did OK with the SGC 20. These cards are so hard to come by that the grade is really immaterial.

I'm curious though as to what people think the price comparison between e99 and e100 would be. I suspect that e99 may carry a 20% premium to e100 all other things being equal.

Steve-

I had always though E100's were harder to come by...but I know myself I've seen more e100's than I have e99's for sale. As far as prices...out of my realm of knowledge.

i have never owned any of these cards...but I DO like them. I passed on an E100 in ex-mt at auction about 15 years ago that sold for $30...I didn't know then what I know now. I think the prices were in line...maybe a little high. Personally I'm out of the type game and wouldn't pay anywhere near those prices for those...jmho.

I do think it would have helped the seller had he had back scans. I am curious why the Bodie went for $650 (or whatever it was) in a SGC 10. Is there some type of Bodie premium?
