The last one was pretty full so I thought I'd start a new one.

All purchased on eBay.

Hi,
I found these coupons in an antique shop in Virginia. The dates are similar to the T206's, etc, so I'm guessing that these were included in the packs with the cards.

Rick

I posted this earlier on the Memorabilia side - perhaps someone here has some info? Victor was the official maker of baseballs for the Federal League.

This piece fills multiple holes in my ever growing minor league collection as well as my pro football HOF collection. Joe Carr, the second NFL commissioner at the time of the photo, is pictured shaking hands with Mayor Thomas of Columbus prior to a Columbus Red Birds game. Carr was the owner/administrator for the Red Birds.

Thankyou Greg T. Finally after a month in Cali with Henry Yee at PSA, Type 1. I'm stoked, though the piano 'story' may have been just that.

That's a beautiful Cardinals PC. Never seen one before.

You may want to have SGC correct the dating error on it, however, as it can only date from 1936-37. Stu Martin and Brucie Ogrodowski's rookie season was '36, and Ogrodowski only played in the bigs in the seasons I mention.

EDIT: It's from 1936. Garibaldi's only MLB season was 1936, and Lynn King played in '36, only to reappear in the majors three seasons later. Interesting in that this is (at least one of) the first issues of Mize in a big league uniform.

Nice research. One would have also thought that SGC might have seen the 1936 Copyright date right on the card.

Jodi:

You're right, I picked it up knowing that it was from 1936 and represents a Johnny Mize RC.

Well, I still feel silly for missing the obvious copyright date!

Regardless, this piece (perhaps sans pencil marks) would look great enlarged and displayed with the signatures of those depicted. The colors are terrific. I have all the autographs of the players on the card. What do these PCs usually retail for?
