One of my favorites, 1888-1896(?) Louisville Slugger. Incredible condition.
Second earliest label I have seen. |

36+ ounces Some grain separation, but no cracks at all. Thing is a brick. |

Rickey Henderson circa 1986-1988 NY Yankees game used bat
Here is one modern game used bat that I own in my personal collection that I really like:
A circa 1986-1988 era game used Rickey Henderson (HOF) bat that shows outstanding use and was vintage signed by The Man of Steal during his tenure with the NYY. The barrel exhibits extensive grain separation and some checking, but remains uncracked. The signature is big & bold. The knob has Rickey's uni # 24 written on it with what appears to be the same gold Sharpie that Henderson used to sign the barrel. I'm not sure what more you could ask for as a bat collector, but it certainly checks off all the boxes for me. Last edited by Scott Garner; 03-18-2020 at 04:11 AM. |
