Default Stamping ID help needed

Thought the board would remember the collector who used to stamp his old caramels and collection with the 110 stamp as shown here.

Anyone remember whose collection this may have come from?

I purchased in 1978 off someone in Chicago and just came across as I was cleaning one of my storage units. His Polar Bear buddy came from the same source. Believe I have an entire shoe box from that collector somewhere.

Thanks for any help
Jeff

Are you sure it's "110"? It could be "HO" or "OH" based on the line crossing between the two "I"s, and those could be the initials of the collector.

Since F. Scott Fitzgerald stamped his cards, I have a theory. Perhaps this one was owned by another writer, O. Henry.
