Anyone bored and in S Connecticut? Come to the Card and memorabilia show this Sunday in Stratford, Exit 30 off 95. Stratford Hotel, Old Ramada Inn. Good mix at this little show, including yours truly. Hope to see you there. Scott

Default questions

Thanks for the alert.

Are there any / many vintage dealers?

Also, is it true that the show only goes from 9 am to 2 pm? Why would dealers and the show promoter not want to sell cards and use the room during the afternoon?

Is this supposed to be the flash mob of card shows? Do you guys have groceries in your cars that you don't want to spoil? Have to vacate the ballroom for a late afternoon Bar Mitzvah?

I don't think I've ever heard of a 5 hour card show before...

Is it worth attending?

Default Stratford

It's a decent little show... I usually hit it up every few months... small enough that it won't overwhelm you, but not large enough to take 5 hours to walk through...

See you there Scott!

Default worth a trip?

Is it worth taking the train up from NYC for the show?

I do it for White Plains, but it's a shorter ride.

At one time that was a great show! Used to drive over from Providence & set up back in the early '90's. That's the show where I sat at the bar & drank Buds w/ Tommy Henrich for over 2 hrs! Greatest time I ever had talking w/ an old ballplayer! RIP Tommy.

Does Mike Riccio still run the show?

Default Stratford

Unusually strong crowd, but merchandise was virtually identical to last month...
