Today are Japanese Bromides related to the Seals 1949 tour:

Start with a nice portrait of Lefty:

Lefty w/Japanese HOFers Kaoru Betto and Bozo Wakabayashi:

Lefty with Japanese manager Shinji Hamazaki

Lefty with two other Seals; anyone ID them?

The next two are HOFer Arky Vaughn on his last legs with the Seals in Japan in 1949:

As long as Adam set a precedent that allows Japanese cards, I'll show this one. It's a postcard with a generic baseball scene, but what's special about it is the date. The postal cancelation dates it to 1891. Pre-war Japanese cards are either menkos, bromides, or postcards. This pre-dates all of the menkos and bromides, and, as far as I've been able to determine, every other postcard as well. It's the only copy I've ever heard of.

I think it might be related to the cigar box that shares the same image. Might have been distributed with the cigars when someone bought one. I just haven't seen more than that one before.
