1971 auction of a T206 Plank
While looking through the June 1971 issue of The Trader Speaks, I came across the ad below for an auction of a T206 Plank.
Given the seller, I'm doubtful the Plank wasn't legit, but what's up with the top corners of the image's background? Any thoughts? Last edited by Rob D.; 08-23-2009 at 07:22 PM.

The shape and angle of those corners is reminiscent of those triangular sticky thingamabobs used in scrapbooks to secure photos.
