Default OMG!!! Thank you NET54 members!!!!

To say I was caught off guard is a huge understatement. I was really shocked when I opened this. I have zero idea when this was done, as it wasn't done on the board. Was this done at the National??? I have no idea who to thank either. The card said that over 30 people donated. Leon, were you responsible?? THANK YOU!! I am moved to tears. Just when I was preparing my exit from the hobby......you guys pull me back in. Anyway, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

I knew about it but it wasn't me. It was one of your many admirers on the forum. You deserve it....

JollyElm initiated and did the legwork via PM. People donated assuming their names weren't going to be listed, and knowing of your recent issues with PSA. Just consider it from members of Net54.

JollyElm knows how OCD I am....and every day PSA won't give us our package, it gnaws away at me........I hope like heck they didn't mail it to someone off. I am really floored it is taking them this long to find the package.

Bobby,

I'm a bit late coming to the party, so I didn't contribute to the gift. (I've had a lot going on in my personal life, so I haven't been on Net 54 in a few weeks.)
Nevertheless, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the hard work that you've put into the bulk submissions to PSA. Thank you!

Thank you Charles! I really didn't mind. I thought they were fun. And they went smooth. This one sub didn't go smooth however. Now I am hearing stories about laid off employees, reprints being graded as real, Mantles being overgrades by 1 and 2 grades, customers getting wrong cards, etc. Losing a package isn't fun. It's the worst. I have to really think long and hard whether I want to continue this game. It is all contingent on how PSA responds.

Default Psa....

I heard PSA almost graded Bobby's greeting card.....until the 2nd grader rep realized it might not be a T201 Mecca double folder after all......

Peace, Mike

PS Congrats to Bobby for getting this and for his patience with PSA. We are all praying it works out!

Bobby, you were a great Group Submitter.

This guy, not so much:
https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1480590

People to be aware of if you're going to be subbing through them at the card show in Tampa. I saw the ad pop up on Facebook. May send this link next time I get it in my random ad suggestions.

(A sad tear rolls down his cheek as he can't believe no one's said a thing about the inclusion of Joe Jackson and Oscar Gamble in the card. Alas...)

I notices old Joe. He is a southern neighbor of mine. A little before my time but a good guy nonetheless.

Happy to see folks from here come together and do this. I got in a few times on Bobby's subs back in the day and he was always great with providing updates as well as packaging items well and sending them back to me right away. Bobby is definitely one of the good guys on these boards.

This is great. This board is really something special in the hobby. I often wondered how much it takes to actually put one of these group subs together from beginning to mailing out all the cards back to the members who took part. The organization it must take to keep it all successful and get the right cards all back to the right people. Then the packing and shipping all those packages. Just incredible. Bobby, you're a saint.

It is really not much work at all. The key is to not lose the correspondence and make sure you have good contact info...it is harder now that it takes upwards of a year to get anything back now.
