Default Stolen Card: Trying To Register On PSA Registry Help?

Hi everyone. You may recall I had made a trade of 4 cards and sent them on January 31st. I had them delivered with signature confirmation and the USPS delivery man failed to do just that. He just left the package while the person was out of town. And the package was stolen.

I just received an e-mail from PSA Set Registry, stating that someone was trying to register one of them. 1975 G.Carter PSA 9.

Don't exactly know what I should do. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jamie

Wow. I would think at this point the first step would be to contact PSA about this. Also if you contact the police about the missing package this may be info they would need.

I'd search eBay and see if you can find the sold listing.

I'm currently dealing with a similar situation (but on the other side). I won an auction and tried to register the card. Same email sent to ex owner. Received a reply back from PSA stating the owner didn't sell the card. I contacted the eBay seller and he acted like he didn't have any idea what I was talking about...the card should be here any day. At that point I'm going to send a scan to PSA and see what happens. Hopefully I haven't bought a stolen card!!

Did speak to PSA, was told they will contact the person. And said sometimes people type in a wrong # bringing that message up. We'll see.

Thanks, Jamie
