Default Got bumperstickers?

Obviously, this thread won't be "Bob Freedman Territory." I have 100's of Giants bumperstickers but these are some of my favorites. "Get 'em Giants" is dated 1961. The Nixon one is 1962. The "Stamp Out Candlestick Park" relates to one man's mission, shortly after the park was opened. His little brochure is pretty funny.

Anyone else got unusual bumperstickers? I wonder when the earliest baseball related ones were made?

Mine are not particularly unusual but they are bumper stickers. I have many more political candidate related ones than sports teams.

I don't own these but found them in the archive of the Baltimore Sun. Gotta love the detail that they reversed the bird on the Hebrew version. I always wanted to make my own copy of the Polish one...

Do you think someone actually produced those? What’s the translation?

The 1961 Orioles bumper stickers translate to:

1. Italian: It Will Be Done In '61 or We'll Make It In '61

2. Polish: It Can Be Done In '61

3. Hebrew: ?

I picked these up pretty cheap a year or so ago. I liked the look and the price.

Here's the back. Note Horace Stoneham, sitting among piles of money, the fire at home plate and the Saint Bernard.

That pamphlet is great!!!

Being a New Yorker out here, I can tell you Mark Twain knew what the heck he was talking about when he described the cold of San Francisco summers. The funniest thing in the world was the first time I went to see the Fourth of July fireworks in SF. I was in shorts and a tank top (Because it's July 4th, for cripes sake!! It should be hot, hot, hot!!!) and noticed everyone else gathered around me was in what could only be described as winter clothes, like parkas, gloves, hats and things. The stuff you would pack for a ski trip to upstate NY or Vermont. Huh?? Am I missing something?? (Side note: the fireworks for some reason were very low in the sky, like stupidly so. Apparently, it was because of the low-lying fog and whatnot? If there was a two-story building nearby, you wouldn't have been able to see anything. LOL. Well, night began to fall and the beautiful, cloudless day turned into what Jack Nicholson experienced at the end of 'The Shining.' I was like, "What in high f_ck is going on here????!!!!!!" People clustered together like hobos, trying to find some warmth, and me standing there like an ad for an Old Navy summer sale. So, yes, SF gets frickin' cold. We ran to the BART station as fast as we could!!!!

And the pitcher tethered to the mound so he won't blow away. Hilarious!!

The bonfire of bats is my favorite. I'm heading to the Bay Area in a few weeks and need to think about buying/packing jackets for my kids (as it is 95 degress in Texas) in case we go to a Giants game (and it is soooooo much better now than the Stick).
