Ok, time out.

I'm not a bat guy, but if I understand correctly "photo match to a similar" is not a photo match.

Right?

Right?
Buzzwords get thrown around like candy at a piñata party sometimes.

Photo matching a bat is almost impossible outside of the modern era unless you have some very very good, up-close Type 1 photos of the player with the bat and it has enough characteristics to definitively match.

PSA and others can reference the order history, bat labeling and known player characteristics to make an informed decision on its usage. Thus if I bat is found to have those characteristics it can be considered a style match, especially if said pictures do match the type of bat presented.

But style match sounds less sexy (and less expensive) than a definitive sounding photo match right?

Either way it’s a great looking bat, and while it’s hard to see the OP’s LOA, someone paid $40k for a PSA 8.5 in 2017, so they’re doing alright for themselves, whether it’s photo match or style match.

Yes... we have already "educated" this seller at least twice in the past. It's getting old. A "style match" is far different from a "photo match".

Also... what is the point of his post? Is he selling it? If so, it belongs in the BST accompanied by an asking price.
