Why when I google heritage auctions is the first listing Goldin Auctions?

If I may answer a rhetorical question, it's because they pay google more than heritage does for those key words.

The real question is why do you google Heritage Auctions? Why not just go right to their site?

Actually, the real reason is probably because they pay an SEO company, not Google, more than Heritage does.

No it's an ad that appears on top, so it is Google they are paying.

I'm not sure why, but I feel like we should probably blame this on buyer's premiums and grading companies.

Ohhh, okay. Based on what Pete said I thought he was referring to Goldin showing up first on the page listing the most active sites when you go asking for Heritage, not a separate ad at the very top of the page. That is two entirely different things then. LOL My bad, misunderstood what he was saying.
