Default D304 Cobb Question

Has anyone ever seen a D304 Cobb with a Weber Bakery back? Neither the SGC nor the PSA pop report lists one. Cobb does come with all the other backs - Brunners, Butter Krust, Martens, General Baking.

Also, general question: is there any rhyme, reason or pattern behind what players come in which D304 backs and is there any players that comes in all 5 backs?

I have added an example of a Weber Bakery back (not mine and not a Cobb) for example purposes. I also added a 2017 sports collector daily article about D304s, which has about as much info as I could find in a single place on the internet

Default Martens

Ryan, I owned the Martens back at one time(think maybe you ended up with it) but I don't recall seeing one with a Weber back...not that that proves or confirms anything...Jerry

I have never seen a Weber back on a Cobb. And I don't really know if all of the players came with each back but I would guess they did. Why not?

One from my previous collection, wish I had it back.

I believe Honus Wagner is in all 5 backs. I don't recall seeing Cobb with the back you mentioned but due to his popularity I would think it would exist if he is in the other 4 backs. My guess is there is a raw one out there somewhere and will pop up someday.

Leon, Pete I has that exact card listed for sale on BST..... which means, theoretically, you could "have" it back!

Default Lajoie Weber

Bumping and old thread to ask if anyone has seen a Lajoie Weber back...digging through some cards and found this but the only checklist I can find online doesn't look that accurate...Jerry
