David, that Graham is the cat’s meow. You beat me to it by minutes and made the smart decision to close the deal. Congrats. If you ever look to sell it, I beg you give me a shot. AWESOME.

I haven't seen this version of Wambsganss before. Always thought Cobb was the only Holsum with two versions....

I finally bought a Joe Sewell card. I probably paid too much. Not the first time, nor will it be the last time either.

Not baseball, and I don't really know much about this set, but for less than $30 delivered, I couldn't pass this up.

A little Cy. Small potatoes to some of you advanced T206 guys but it's the star of my tiny tobacco collection.

Dave, I think both Holsum versions have been found for several players. FYI, I have both Holsum versions of Sam Rice.

My pursuit of cards for my Sam Rice master collection reached the point a few years ago where acquisitions became few and far between. So, I was totally stoked when this rarity (1 of 1) arrived in the mail yesterday (Mike, thanks again!), and it also helped reduce my disappointment at being the under bidder on the card I most wanted in the REA Auction, this N370 Lone Jack card: https://bid.robertedwardauctions.com...e?itemid=54711

Man, I love this whole page .... Just great variety of players, sets and type of cards.

I'm hoping to find any cards of Ira Thomas - Detroit or Philadelphia A's. (1908-1914)

He's from the town near me.

Also, gorgeous '37 Feller rookie there! They don't get much nicer than that!

Great T213-1s!! New pick ups- one from REA and one private, both are brown old mills. Also picked up a t206 Matty portrait PSA 6 and a t206 Frank Chance Red Portrait, Brown Hindu PSA 6, but can’t get pics to post. Excited for the mail to come

Asphaltman - you are correct, Disney is a fortune. But making memories is priceless (or so I keep telling myself!)

Thanks, y'all. I'm hoping the T213-2 Demmitt will catch-up in value with the Polar Bear backs.

Nice one, Tom.

----------

Also, a BL460 is a good card to start a back run with. Great stuff.

Ryan, your growing brown T206 Old Mill collection is fantastic!

Michael, that's quite a Konetchy back run you have going!

The monthly pick-up threads are amongst my very favorites - always something neat to look forward to - nice pickups everyone.

Default t206 Chief Meyers

Wow. Some real eye pleases from so many. I'm inspired to be-start my own little project.

A few recent adds - misspelled Meyers t206 and Sweet Caporal pin.
