Default Storing 33 Goudey

What do you all use to encase your ungraded 33 Goudeys? I like the 1-screw vintage card holders that Pro Mold has for Bowman and 52-56 Topps but does anything like this exist for Goudey cards? I hate the way they look in standard size toploaders.

What, exactly, offends you about the toploader look?

Brian, love the stack!

Conor, regarding top loaders for Goudeys, I just don’t like all the extra space. It’s a very petty thing, I know.

I wish they made recessed screw downs for Goudey.

Same here...

Or the One Touch magnetized holders would be equally welcomed. Can't believe there is still nothing on the market for Goudeys.

I like the stack. Mine are currently loose, in a card box that I got from Lew Lipset about 25 years ago. They used to be in 9 pocket sheets in a ring binder.

Great pictures, guys!

I hear you on the extra space, though it’s really just at the top. Side to side they’re only 1/8” narrower than a modern card. Have you though about mylar? Not quite the rigidity of a toplaoder, but 4 mil isnt bad, plus you can cut the top to size.

I collect my Goudeys raw. Except in winter when I put on a robe.

My best advice, whether raw or robed, is to be barefoot. You are more likely to
sneak up on an unsuspecting Goudey that way.

Brian (thanks for all the stacked compliments guys!)
