Leon and I had a conversation today to try to work out the forum split. I'm glad to report that we still both have the same goal in mind, which is to provide the best site(s) possible for everyone's participation. We're going to work out some details and I think we'll have this all resolved by next week. We may not be able to please everyone, but we're going to attempt it.

I appreciate all of the comments over the past couple of weeks and wish I could've responded to each of them at the time, but we needed some time to let things settle down.

It was a nice conversation with very little biting or hair pulling (good thing on the hair part as he would have been grabbing my scalp). I think there will be some good progress made very soon and almost everyone will be happy. However, you can't please all the people all the time. We really do want what is best for the collective group. Take care all.....

glad it looks like things will work out. Come on, what fun would this board be if we didn't get in each other's faces every once in awhile? No pain no gain (from the guy whose belly grows each day and who knows that expression only as a fiction).

Leon, shoot us some scans and/or stories of your latest conquests.

Nice to see a "leon" post here again. I KNEW that two reasonable people could work things out. I hope the war reparations aren't too high .
