Default Help Identifying player/card?

I would love any help identifying the player in this cabinet card and if anyone knows what the other card is. Christy Mathewson is written on back of the card. Card is 2" x 3 1/2". Cabinet is normal size. Thanks, Jeff W

Top player looks like Chief Meyers batting.

Could be a modern creation.

The Gray cabinet features the same backdrop as a couple of poses of Bobby Wheelock in the N172 Old Judge set, not surprising since Gray took many of the Boston photos in that set. The youngster pictured was likely a member of the Warrens, one of many top-notch amateur teams around Boston in the 1880s.

Top card, that looks kinda like the Chief.

It also looks like sunlight is creating that shadow. I don't recall seeing cabinet cards depicting outdoors pictures. So I think along the lines of Vintagecatcher about that modern creation possibility.

Bottom card looks genuine.
