Personally, I like them both, even with the open "d", but Williams is not my strong suit.

I think the top one is good. I do not like the bottom. The open ends as well as the transition from the d in Ted to the W in Williams looks really sloppy.

On the second one look at the second 'l' in Williams. It is not smooth, the person signing was thinking about it. As a lot of the people here seem to say 'slowly drawn'. Very noticeable on the downstroke into the 'i'.
