this first card is mine that was graded a psa 2 with a mark. i first thought it was because of the "t" in ty, thinking someone put a pen to it...then i saw the bottom one on ebay. what do you guys think??

do you think it was a printing problem?

I think your Willards Chocolates card of Ty Cobb looks fine.

What I think about grading and their occasional lack of ability, as
well as folks who buy the grade without being attentive to the card
itself... I'll keep that to myself.

That is a nice card. I think that you could resubmit it, and ask for
someone to grade it who is familiar with Willards, then it may well
come back without a "mark" designation.

Or you could just bust him out.

Looks like you have a "Mechanical Error" label. Send back for correction.

I think you need to look real close at the top border (especially) and check for indentions left by a pencil erasure.....that would count as an "mk" too....best regards

leon, i think you are right. i didnt notice that little line before and you (i) couldnt see it without holding the card at
an angel. it sucks but i feel better that it wasnt someone startoing to write over his name.

Hey Anthony,
I guess being addicted helps in knowing these things. I have handled quite a few V100's so had a feeling about the "mk".....I guess some big collector of them wrote on them a long time ago. Most have been erased and most have indentions left over. I have had many of them that have had indentions that couldn't be seen until you tilted the card.... best regards
