Doug, did we ever come up with a good theory as to how that might have happened? (Not you selling your card, but how the 'B' ended up on it).

my first thought (and this is the first time i'm seeing this card), is that it's a "B" from a Boston (either Amer. or Nat'l team) player that was printed over the Marquard. i did a quick search on T206resource and didn't find an exact match, although there are a few cases where the "B" in Boston could be in a similar position...interesting & cool card.

Very Cool indeed! 1st time I've ever seen this also... My first thought was that it looks more like the number "8" than a "B"... & You've probably of thought or heard this before... Still a Very Neat Transfer(?)

its not a wetsheet transfer.. because there are about 6-10 that I know to exist.. its a misprint..
