FS; Babe Ruth as Red Six pitcher - 1916 Newspaper, great photos of Babe
Looking to sell (or trade) this one page 1916 spring training preview newspaper from April 1916 with young Red Sox “twirler” Babe Ruth shown nicely as part of Sox rotation. A 2nd photo of the Babe and his first wife in “civilian” clothes
Bonus photo of the Boston Braves with photo of young future HOF SS Rabbit Maranville. Finally, some of the adjacent articles and ads are a total hoot - big scandal about putting uniform numbers on Yale football players... Great eye appeal, ready for framing. I’m a card collector otherwise I’d frame and display it myself, as a Sox fan! Asking $SOLD plus postage on eBay due to fees. Will sell here for $SOLDplus shipping of $10 Last edited by Belfast1933; 01-09-2021 at 05:07 AM. Reason: Item sold |
