It's about 20 degrees in Big D and there has been enough snow ( maybe an inch at my house) to really confuse our beagle puppy. She needs to smell to go to the bathroom (it's a dog thing) and the ice and snow make it difficult. She sure loves running around in it though......hope everyone stays safe and warm.....and we get all of the little vintage pieces of art we are hoping for for Chanukah/Christmas....warm regards

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Its a chilly 55 in Phoenix. I better go shovel the sunshine off my driveway. (Sorry to those of you in the snow - you can laugh at me all summer.)

Just a light dusting of snow yesterday here but bitter cold. Temperatures are supposed to climb all the way in to the 60's next week. Talk about your cold and flu season!!
Going out to buy the wife a new dog for Christmas today and continue checking the mailbox for the cards I ordered which are supposed to be here to go in Santa's bag.
Expecting the next generation of card collectors tomorrow as the little grandkids roll in.
Have a safe and merry Christmas everyone.
TBob

drinking, and even though it's only about 40 degrees out, it's also 40 degrees IN, because our heat hasn't seen fit to come up yet...brrr!
(from the old "Picture Sharing Thread!"--Dec. 14, 2003)

(John Wonkaticket's gorgeous cards from "Best Card, regardless of set," still running)

It finally warmed up--inside and out.

It's no so much a dog thing but a beagle thing. I have a 4 year old beagle and her nose is always to the ground. Luckily we don't get much snow here but when we do, taking the dog out is not much fun.

We are in "between" snow storms here in the mountains. However, one great thing has come of this - we are expecting a really nice snow Christmas Eve and Christmas day - just love those White Christmases!

Thanks to everyone on the board for providing insight, answers, and even sometimes intelligence on vintage baseball card collecting! 12 more realistic portrait HOF'er for my t206 collection to go (Wanger and Plank dont count)! I hope to fill it out in 2005. My E95 set is still a ways off.

It is a balmy 7 in Madison today, but should be -1 when I travel to the Twin Cities tomorrow with -30 wind chill's. Too bad the Viking game is indoors. I'd love to watch it at the old Met. Crush those Packers!!! The one good thing I can say is we have has a total of about 1/100th of an inch of snow this year.

The funny thing is Henry's a runt for his breed, and he's a toy dog. He couldn't be a show dog as the minimum weight is 8.5 pounds, and he's only 6 full grown.

Thanks for another year of great information and even greater laughs. For the second year in a row my wife and I have a new beautiful daughter to share the holidays with. Funds are low, but life is great.

And remember, no matter how naughty you've been, you're never to bad for George Herman Kringle.

Whichever you celebrate, enjoy!

David, I got "Pita" as an early christmas gift for my wife. Henry and her would have a great time together!

I am having a typical Jewish Christmas: 2 movies and Chinese food for dinner.

Trying to stay warm here in Atlanta, Ga (29 degrees). I hope everyone has a very nice Christmas! Tammy (My wife) wants to thank Mastro and Dave Bryant for the boxes that came in today. She will now have something to give me infront of everyone tomorrow. I think I hear Santa on the roof! Got to go now... JC
