Default Amazing cardboard everyone.

I haven't posted my monthly pickups in awhile, but after looking at everyone's cardboard I was inspired to scan and post. Incredible cards everyone, thanks for sharing.

It took some trades and cash to get this Cobb, but it was worth it.

I had some rare good fortune at an estate sale/auction this week. The Suitcase Seeds card is strangely a blank back on thicker cardboard, so I would welcome some input.

Thanks Joe. The exhibits are great in that I can afford (barely) a higher grade Cobb. A T206, E98 or other desireable Cobb's in the same grade, I would guess, would cost 3-4 times as much as I spent. As much as I love the artwork of a t206 it is pretty cool having an actual photo print of the great Cobb.

Default Chief Meyers (Catching) Diamond Cut "Twin Bill" T206

Picked up this Chief Myers (Catching T206) that has a severe diamond cut and registration issues that create a "double vision" and a "twin bill."

I wasn't sure if I would ever see this card since there was a delay in shipping, and once it was shipped, it went from Alabama to Texas before heading here to Maine.

Nice card AJ. My favorite Goudey Ruth by far. I bought mine 3 years ago at the National. Remember that purchase. At the time, it was the most I had paid for a card. Still one of my favorites.

Thanks Eric! Decided I'd better buy some low grade examples before I got priced out as they seem to be on the ups right now. Love the Goudey set.

Here's another one that showed up in the mail today. As a CJ collector I'm partial to the deep red background and love how it matches Cy's "B A" on his shirt. This is a tremendous no crease grade 3 that I jumped at when it posted on ebay last week.

Wow Barry, nice! You should bring a few 1914s to the show to show them off and so I can see them. I've still never owned one from either year.

Many thanks to Henry Moses for parting with this N333 Newsboy (finally ). This example enjoys a strong photo which makes for easy reading of the small nameplate. Introducing John "Jack" Flood, Detroit Journal right fielder.

Still looking for many of his teammates & opponents . . .

Joe, great pickups over the year and how did you get Moses to part with it?

To keep the 19th century black and white theme going, I'll add this California League card.

Nice WaJo Greg!

Just got this Baker. I've owned a few copies over the years, but always lower grade and I never kept any for long. Got this one from a board member, thanks again!

I second that, and the ones that are available quite often are used-looking (which I applaud) like the ones Pete has shown.

Awesome! Between you and Joe, you've made this 19th century baseball card aficionado very envious!

Here's another one that showed up in the mail today. As a CJ collector I'm partial to the deep red background and love how it matches Cy's "B A" on his shirt. This is a tremendous no crease grade 3 that I jumped at when it posted on ebay last week.
A.J., that's my favorite Cy Young card (and as a T206 guy it hurts to admit this). Congratulations.

Thanks Sean, I'm with you. I think by far that's the best Cy Young card ever made. That rich red background is awesome.

Picked this up from another board member last week...Steve got to me A-Ok! I think these Exhibits are the most underrated cards on the market right now.

AJ, you're on a DiMaggio-esque streak of awesome pick-ups. Totally agree on Exhibits by the way.
