Lot of 63,000 cards 1972-1978 for sale.

This is former dealer stock (me being the former dealer). I've been buying/selling/trading cards off and on since the mid-1980's - I purchased a small business unrelated to sports memorabilia in 2009 and no longer have any time for the little side business I had running buying and selling mostly common cards. Note the card quantities given are approximate - judge them as +/- 5%.

Here is the list of the stock I have:

1972
2,300 cards. 75% EX to NM, 25% VG-VG/EX. Sorted in numerical order. Includes 46 major star/HOF/leader cards and 21 high numbers. The star cards and high numbers are rougher than the bulk, average VG-VG/EX.

1973 (2 lots)
#1) 10,600 cards. 75% EX to NM, 25% VG-VG/EX. Sorted in numerical order. Includes about 50 star/HOF/leader cards and approximately 100 high numbers.
#2) 600 high numbers #529-660, unsorted by number, VG to NM.

1974
10,000 cards. 75% EX to NM, 25% VG/VG-EX. Sorted in numerical order. Includes about 100 major star/HOF/leader cards.

1975 (4 lots)
#1) 16,400 cards 75% EX to NM, 25% VG/VG-EX. Sorted in numerical order. Includes about 250 major star/HOF/leader cards.
#2) 2,000 cards 90% EX or better, 10% VG/VG-EX. Mostly sorted in numerical order, maybe a couple hundred out of # order. All commons.
#3) 1,200 cards all EX or better, unsorted. All commons.
#4) 700 1975 mini series cards approx 50% NM, other 50% mostly EX or better with a few below EX. Unsorted. All commons.

1976
6,900 cards. Approx 50% NM, 40% EX to EX-MT, 10% EX and lower. Sorted in numerical order, almost all commons, some minor stars.

1977
1,500 cards. 80% NM, 20% below NM. Sorted in numerical order, almost all commons, some minor stars.

1978
10,000 cards. 75% NM with the remaining 25% mostly EX or better. Includes about 200 major star/HOF/leader cards.

MIX
#1) one box with 100 1972, 300 1973, 150 1977 cards. Unsorted, VG to NM.

The price -not negotiable- is $4700 for all of them. I have priced them such that anyone purchasing them who wants to flip them on eBay should be able to realize a nice profit from doing so.

This is the kind of transaction that should be done in person as the shipping weight is insane and you'll want to see what you are getting - and I'll want cash for the cards.
