Sorry to intrude, but I found these for sale, and can't find anything about 'em.
Anyone recognize these? Any info would be appreciated. I don't want to overpay.

THANKS!

Are they marbles or other?

There are 1968 Major League Baseball marbles that have this basic design (I've never seen one in person). You can find them in the complete as-sold-in-store packages sometimes. I don't know if they made marbles in other years, but those would be from that era.

I may be wrong (I'm no marble expert), but I doubt a single baseball player marble (or rubber ball) is worth a lot of money (in fact, it may be worth little), but they are unusual and far from plentiful. Definitely counts as a baseball oddball item.

1968 Chem Toy super-balls.
not particularily rare nor valuable.

I add that, as with many kids, I loved superballs (still do!). But I'd have to get about 5 at a time, because I'd loose one about ever 5 minutes when throwing them against the driveway or at a schoolyard.

We call them 1970 chemtoy superballs and we have checklisted this set in an older Beckett Baseball Card Magazine as well as an Beckett Almanac.
I seem to recall buying them while out shopping with my grandmother for the munificent sum of 29 cents each. We have listed the McCovey superball with a $25 value.

Hope this helps

Rich
