Default PSA vintage subs shrinking

Posted By: steve

Eventually all nice stuff will have been submitted - no more folks, maybe a new discovery - yes, but any nice card already in the hobby world will have been submitted. I heard rumor PSA is down to 5 annual submissions of nice 1969 Reggie Jackson's. And lets get real - how many T206 Cobb greenies are laying around ungraded that if, would get a 5 or higher ? Or 1933 Ruth cards?

I realize commons and/or low grade are much, much more plentiful raw.

Either:

A) PSA lucked into their origin of whole number grades, and will now prosper greatly from all the re-submits hoping for the bump, and the next new owner re-submit, and the next new owner re-submit, etc.

B) PSA had enough forethought to start with whole grades on purpose, all the time knowing they would switch years down the road to a half grade format.

Vote for "A" or "B"

Poor SGC, what can they now do to stimulate submittals?
