Thanks, Chris! I'm tapped out for now, but it was sweet getting 4 prewar packages in the mail in one day!

Default George Gibson T206

Picked up this T206 George Gibson Sweet Caporal 150 on eBay. It was in an PSA Authentic Altered holder, but for $24.99 I couldn't resist. Top border is short one way or another.

I wanted it to compare to the Piedmont 150 George Gibson that I have had for years.

Here are both for comparison.

Nice Whitney with Dog card. I had my eye on that one and would've bid if I didn't already own the same card. That one's got a nice image.

Love the Pirate miscut card. Argh, matey!

My boys were excited when I came home with these black leather glove chairs for our baseball card room. They are too cool not to post even though not prewar. I guess Budweiser made these for the 2009 All Star Game. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1358366841.081739.jpg

Yes, thanks, Chris. it's on my radar, but likely going to be out of my budget. Probably going to have to settle for an SGC A or 10. Oh well!

Default My two HOF "rookie" pick-ups this month

two more off the list...a big thanks to Jeff in Toronto for working with me!!!

If I could switch the image sizes around, I would - clearly the Dandridge was a "bigger" pick-up than the Roush...but I'm super pleased with both!

Anyone have others to complete the 1860's run? (The first is from the Philadelphia area. The others are from St. Charles, Missouri.)
