I know that the Drum and BL460 Red Portraits are much rarer (probably a couple more as well), but this is my all-time dream card that I will never own.

1949 Bowman Satchell Paige. A must for any serious Tribe collector who has $3K+ to spend on a baseball card. I'll buy Leroy's card one of these days....

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth 181

My dream card. The fun thing is that in lower grades, it is a fairly attainable card. The bad thing is that over the last year, it become a little less obtainable because of exponential price increases.

ruth181.JPG

I like that image so much, I bought the "poor man's version", 1935 Goudey Ruth. Scratches the itch a little...but I'd still like the 1933.

Attainable, though I would prefer to trade into it than buy it. The unattainable is always a T206 Wagner.

No doubt (among PreWar cards) this one. It's a card I doubt I'll ever own. But I can hope anyway.

1915-cracker-jack-19-chief-bender-22994.jpg

My post war most wanted is much more attainable, Billy Pierce's '59 Bazooka card. I've come close on a few in the past. Now with a brand new grandbaby (our first with a second to come in October) I have a hard time justifying money for big ticket cards that should go to spoiling grandchildren!

I guess this would be it for me. My only complete set is 1953 Bowman. Other full sets on back from there just aren't in the cards, as they say. But I do have a few desirable pre-war, t-cards, etc. This would be the crown jewel, but not likely to happen.

Me too, had a contact at a card shoe in the 90’s. He said he had this card, gave me his phone #, called many times, never answered. Deal never happened. Lol. Never saw him again. Joe. PS, I could have afforded it then, not now.

I had two Clemente's that I let go many years ago and to this day I lament my decision. I wished I could have these once again.

1962 Sugardale- Mine was totally free of stains and any yellowing; I didn't realize what I had until much later.

1968 Topps 3D- This was well before grading, it would probably be graded in Very Good to Excellent today, but it was the Clemente to have almost 40 years ago. I knew what I had in this case, but I needed the money for a non-hobby family expenditure at the time that was more important than the card.

Oh well.

N172 Doyle would be my first choice. There's a specific subset of 8 OJs that I'd like to put together, and most of them can be found for a few hundred dollars. Doyle not so much.

WOW

I Love the Great and many cases unique cards everyone is selecting

I Like the pictures, I like the stories behind some of them and/or the reasoning.

I even like when we ask about the 1 Card and some give multiple because often hard to pick just 1

Keep Them Coming

My “wow, I won the lottery” choice would be the Baltimore News Ruth

Kind of realistically hope to get someday is a 1907 Wolverine News Ty Cobb. Always loved the look of that card.

I could name quite a few cards but I also want to be real and not name something that I know I will never be able get. For me, a 1968 Nolan Ryan RC in PSA 8. I almost picked one up at this years National. It was between that and another card and I went with the other since that's what my intended target was.

The 1968 card I did see of Ryan's was beautifully centered. What turned me off was that it was in an old holder and also seemed to have a tiny crack. The crack didn't seem to affect the grade however. Again, it was a tiny crack. If PSA was reholdering at the show, I would have possibly given it a shot but since they were backed up, they stopped taking all orders so it was an easy decision for me on the pass. Now if I had enough money for that card and the one I also picked up, I would have bought both for sure.

I will own it one day.

From a fantasy prospective, I would love to own the Just So Cy Young. From a someday this might be possible, today's pick would be an E92 Nadja Mathewson.
