Not much of a punishment, that is. Now that I'm old and my wife won't let me eat this stuff, it would be a treat to open a can again.

Sorry guys, couldn't help myself. Some mildly NSFW language and probably not the classiest thing I've ever done.

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to upload this to Youtube and keep the captions.

Ok the authorities have been told but are they gonna do anything? Coaches corners have been selling fake autos for many years and the authorities could care less. And im sure they've sold a lot more dollar amounts in fakes then what the T206s have sold for.

I think this is different than CC. Here there is rock-solid proof that the T206s were signed within the past few years. Unless the forger's lawyer is Perry Mason, he will have a doozy of a time getting out of this one.

The irony of all this is that a bad signature in a slab is more marketable, and therefore more valuable, than a genuine signature raw. I'm not sure if the goal is to get it right, or simply to keep the market running smoothly.

And it's the same with baseball cards. An altered card in an 8 holder is worth a ton, while an unadulterated raw card is almost impossible to sell. It's an amazing state of affairs.

Hmmm, I guess SGC stands for Sacred Grading Cow. Didn't they slab 8 of these before going to auction? PSA slabbed 1. Reminds me of the old NCAA joke headline: "UNC cited for 100 recruiting violations: UNC-Greensboro being put on probation."

I'm glad I only paid $5.00 for my Bob Feller autograph or I would have had to leave the room before it was over.

Hahaha. I love those stupid borders too.

If I was one to submit cards for grading, this would certainly be the end of that. I feel lucky to prefer raw cards. I invite others to join me in not collecting scared.

Actually, it is likely just not yet. There are things happening behind the scenes and it has been asked to not make the info public yet. Most of the people who have been working on this know the IDs so they aren't completely being kept secret. The info is just not being made public due to ongoing investigations.

Those captions went perfectly with the reaction shots of the Hitler entourage. You can just feel that guy's discomfort when the Fuhrer announces his intention to collect 1975 Topps...the hand to the gut, then loosening the collar.

Man, this was beyond classic for us vintage folks, and perfect commentary and a nice break from the T206 fake autograph fiasco.

Perhaps his signature on peace treaties were forgeries.

Great piece of work!!

About 6 months ago I started buying pre-war HOF autographed PSA/DNA autographed TCMA post cards. I think I'm safe as there is very little money to be made on the ones I bought. But then, maybe the forger was just practicing on mine.

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to upload this to Youtube and keep the captions.
