Default E93 Overprint???

Posted By: Colt McClelland

I'm sure this has probably been discussed here before, but I am new to this and just purchased an E93 Wiltse card with the same "HON" overprint as the one (or maybe it's "HCN" or "HGN" can't really tell) in this new ebay listing for an E93 Clarke:

Anyone know if this is similar to the "Old Put" or "Toy Town" overprint, or if maybe this is just something that a collector did to his E93 set at some point?

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks.

a collector's initials. More than likely, something a collector stamped on the back of cards in his/her collection at one point.

Definately a collector's initials. I bought a nice group of e-cards that was mostly American Caramel Indians and Wild West Gum cards, and every card, about 40 of them, had this stamp on the back.

I like to sit outside, drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.
