Not a rare card in and of itself and not even in great shape, but it does represent the 6th color that I needed for the 1934 Batter-Up Lefty Grove cards (#31 low number).

That Duffy is a neat photo! What's he doing in the photo? It appears to me that he is being interrupted while thumbing through a large dictionary and there are oven mits on top of the book. ?????

Please forgive pic sizes, I'm still trying to figure this out (I now realize how computer illiterate I really am)

Any opinions on the CJ Speaker as to the size. It doesn't appear trimmed under 10x mag.---thanks in advance. Mike

Shannon,

Yep. Heck of a deal on a beautiful card. I took about ten minutes to think it over, and I was surprised it was still up when I did decide to pull the trigger. Just came in the mail today.

I went to the Tri-Star Show in Marlboro, Massachusetts earlier today and I picked up a decent condition C46 catcher card for $30.00. The show had very little vintage cards. Luckily, the C46 made it worth the trip.

Aiyiyiyi. OK, here's first attempt at uploading an image.

Shoot - didn't work. Sorry for bumping the thread for nothing. I'll have to try it again. SGA 70 though. First M116, and first card of any kind in this good of condition. So I'm happy.

Thank you BSF. Here I thought I was finally going to progress technologically beyond being able to program my VCR, where I've pretty much topped out. I appreciate the assist.

I just won it last night, so I have not received the goods yet. I am holding out hope that no canine parts will be included in the package unless they are attached to a living animal. And if I am lucky enough to receive a new friend, I am also hoping that I do not get mauled. However, I do think that the sniffing dog adds uniqueness to the auction and gives credence to the fact that the bottle did, at one point, hold the most delicious cocoa of the era. And, dare I say, a sweet smelling card as well!

Nice speaker, by the way. Be happy with your E94 and don't be all greedy wanting an E90
